Correcting poor performance and performance related problems is a task most managers avoid because they don’t know how to discuss problems effectively with employees. This course will give managers, team leaders, and supervisors an efficient system of tackling performance problems without driving themselves nuts. Participants will gain insight into why poor performance has to be confronted. A five-step approach to counseling and disciplining will be discussed. The five-steps include identifying the performance deviation, gathering the data, writing the documentation, conducting the session, and following-up.
