Jack L. Proscia has over 25 years experience in property management
and housekeeping management. He has worked as a consultant for a variety of
health related facilities. Jack has written a manual for the Hospitality
Industry titled Everything You've Ever Wanted to Know About Housekeeping.
He has since retired from Keuka College and does private consulting and
workshops.

Bernardine Rapacki, OTR/L is a Senior Occupational Therapist at
St. Joseph's Hospital. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Occupational Therapy from Utica College of Syracuse University.
Bernardine has practiced as an Occupational Therapist for 23 years with
the last 14 years specializing in geriatrics.

Sandi Ryant-Devine,
LCSW-R, ACSW is a Clinical Social Worker in Bariatrics. She
provides the initial psychosocial evaluations and on-going counseling to
patients seeking weight loss surgery. Sandi also facilitates five
support groups. She holds an MSW from Syracuse University, an MS
in Adult Education from Elmira College, and a BSW from SUNY Albany. |

Bud Shaver
has worked as a Human Resource professional since 1973 for Thatcher
Glass Company, Georgia Pacific Pulp & Paper Company, Augat (LRC
Electronics) and Leprino Foods. He has experience both at the
plant and regional level for these organizations. Bud received his
BS in Business Administration from Ithaca College. In addition,
for the past 10 years, he has the professional certification of Senior
Professional in Human Resources from the national SHRM organization.
Bud is currently Manager of People Development for Leprino Foods and
conducts several training activities for them. |

Emilie Sisson is a Consultant for both health and private
businesses. She has an M.A. from SUNY Albany, and a B.A., Magna Cum Laude, from
Ithaca College. Emilie is a certified Toastmaster, certified Performax
Consultant, and a certified New York State Infection Control Educator. She is
currently the Director of the Wayne County Rural Health Network in Sodus, NY.

Joan B. Skawski,
R.N., B.S.N., M.A., C.P.H.Q. has extensive experience in presenting
educational programs for healthcare professionals and lay persons.
She has an M.A. in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Bioethics
from Georgetown University, Washington, DC, a B.S.N. from The Catholic
University of America, Washington, DC, and an R.N. from St. Joseph's
Hospital Health Center School of Nursing, Syracuse, NY. Ms.
Skawski has 30 years of nursing experience, including critical care,
education, management and quality improvement/utilization management and
case management.

Pat Smith, BSN, MPS,
CDE became the Director of Education at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital
in Bath, New York in February 2007. Her responsibilities include
management and coordination of staff education, program development and
community outreach services.
She developed and
instructs a diabetes education program for the Bath community and also
holds current American Heart Association CPR instructor certifications.
Prior to coming to Davenport & Taylor, Pat worked at Corning Hospital
for 24 years in a variety of roles, including Director of Community
Health and Wellness where she developed and implemented numerous
education programs such as the "Living With Diabetes Self-Management
Education Program" at the facility. Pat also worked for 15 months
at The Diabetes Center at Arnot Medical Services, where she provided
group classes and individualized education to persons with diabetes.
Pat has held the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) credential from the
American Diabetes Association for nearly 20 years, and is a member of
the American Association of Diabetes Educators.

Wendy Spady is an
R.N. and Patient Care Manager at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elmira, New York. She
has experience both in the clinical setting and in education. Wendy has spent
most of her time in nursing working with the elderly and enjoys the challenges
that often arise. She is a graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing
and is presently pursuing further studies. In addition, Wendy teaches Normal
Aging and Physical Needs of the Elderly and Preceptors - A
Resource for Healthcare Professionals for JET, Inc.

Rawn W. Spearman, BSEE, MSCS, retired
from IBM Endicott in 2001, is an adult education trainer at the Broome Community
College's Continuing Education Department. He was also a professional
tutor at Broome Community College Learning Assistance Center. He obtained his Bachelor's in Electrical
Engineering from Howard University in Washington, DC and his Master's Degree in
Computer Science from Binghamton University in 1984.

Vicki Teribury,
MSN, RN is a 1994 graduate of Arnot Ogden Medical Center School of Nursing.
She received her Bachelor and Master's degree from Mansfield
University and is employed by Corning Community College as a Clinical
Health Instructor. Vicki has been involved in
healthcare since 1991 progressing from CNA to LPN to RN, Head Nurse, Staff
Development Coordinator, Home Healthcare Nurse, and Quality Assurance. She has also been an
Emergency Medical Technician since 1999 and volunteers with South Creek
Ambulance. |

Denise Townley, BA, Vice
President of Rape Crisis of the Southern Tier, a program of Planned
Parenthood of the Southern Finger Lakes, Inc. She has been the
Chemung County Counselor/Advocate in charge of providing direct services
to clients and their loved ones and Senior Counselor in charge of the
direct services component of a three-county program. She is a
member of the New York State Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NYSCASA),
the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, and the Chemung
County Multi-Disciplinary Team and Child Fatality Revew Team.
Denise received her BA in Psychology/Criminal Justice from Elmira
College and is New York certified as a Rape Crisis Counselor/Advocate.

Tammy Watkins, CPC, has been working in the medical field for the past
20 years. She currently works in a physician’s office doing medical coding.
Tammy has also taught Basic ICD-9 Coding and CPT for BOCES. She became a
Certified Professional Coder in 2002.

Marc Whitney is owner and CEO of Whitney Consulting, Inc. He is
also a Senior Associate with the Highland Consulting Group, Inc. In
addition to his organizational development work, Marc also is a Training Officer for Trumansburg Police Department and a
Certified instructor for New York State Bureau for Municipal Police Training
Council. Marc is presently the Village Manager for Horseheads, NY. Marc’s work includes 34 years in program and curriculum development for
a dynamic staff learning and development program for one of Cornell’s largest
units. He received group leadership intensive training from Napier Associates
and numerous technical training programs for NYSBMPTC.

Kathleen Winslow holds an MS in College Student Personnel
Administration with a minor in counseling and a BS in History from
Indiana University. She has been a trainer most of her professional
life. When not teaching at JET, she can be found teaching various computer
skills classes at The Elmira Business Institute or doing workshops and designing WEB Pages through her own
business, Supervisory Savvy and Software Savvy of the Southern Tier. |

Ben Younker is a
trainer with an extensive background in manufacturing, healthcare,
education and the military for the last 40 years. He has held
positions that require training directly to individuals and groups in or
out of the classroom depending on their needs. Ben specializes in
office technologies focusing on the Microsoft operation and Office
application software, and emergency preparedness. |
