JET is able to meet your medical training needs with various credits.

ANCC Approved Provider (a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association)

JET is approved as a provider of continuing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Commission (ANCC) on Accreditation. The approval period is for six years and enables JET to develop courses meeting ANCC criteria and grant continuing education hours for these programs.

ANCC Accreditation Feedback Line

1-866-262-9730

The Accreditation Program of the American Nurses Credentialing Center is interested in the opinions and perspectives of the participants in accredited continuing nursing education activities, particularly those perspectives related to the presence of perceived bias in the continuing education.  For this reason, we are now providing a toll free number.  Participants may access this number at any time to:

  • tell us of any noted bias or conflict of interest in the education

  • tell us of any concerns, compliments, or opinions

  • tell us of a great experience

  • tell us of an unpleasant experience

  • tell us your thoughts on the process

Just call and tell us!  1-866-262-9730

*Bias is defined as:  preferential influence that causes a distortion of opinion or of facts.  Commercial bias may occur when an educational activity promotes one or more product(s) (drugs, devices, services, software, hardware, etc.)  This definition is not all inclusive and participants may use their own interpretation in deciding if a presentation is biased.

NOTE:  Statements of commercial support and/or conflict of interest disclosures do not represent bias.  Such statements inform the learner that the provider has implemented a mechanism to identify and resolve all conflicts of interest prior to delivery of the educational material.

Alzheimer's Disease affects an estimated 4 million Americans.  It is the 5th leading cause of total disability in the US and the 4th leading cause of death.  Fourteen million Americans will have AD by the middle of this century unless a cure or prevention is found.  The cognitive impairment and memory loss that occur with AD generally render the afflicted person incapable of caring for himself or herself competently and thus in need of supportive care.  This care is provided by family caregivers and by members of the healthcare team.  This day-long course is designed for RNs, LPNs, and other healthcare providers or anyone else who cares for patients with Alzheimer's Disease.  Through the use of films, lecture, discussion, handouts, and other audiovisual techniques, the participant will become more familiar with the theories behind AD, the disease progression, how to manage the many behavioral problems that accompany the disease, and the needs of family caregivers.

There have been many new medications for hypertension marketed recently.  What are they?  How do they work?  What about the old cardiac medications, are they still useful?  With so many Americans with hypertension, a primary risk for coronary artery disease, it is important to know about these medications.  This course will review the various drugs, their interactions and indications for use.  The part that RNs and LPNs play in patient education today will be enhanced by the knowledge obtained from this course on hypertensive and cardiac drugs.  Participants should review anatomy and physiology of the heart and cardiac terminology prior to attending this class.  This course is designed for RNs and LPNs.
